What is your job role? How long have you been there?

I oversee all the brewing and work with Tom to put recipes together. I’m responsible for pretty much everything at the brewery, brew scheduling, ordering everything, paying for everything, selling everything. When I write it down, It sounds a bit stressful, but we work with a great team who pick up the slack.

What’s the best and worst part of your role?

Best: Being totally in control of my job and what I do. It’s a big responsibility, you have to think on your feet (Furious pivoting has occurred in 2020) At the end of the day though, I’m in control of my own destiny.

Worst: See above!

What is your spirit animal and why?

A womble. I’d say I’m pretty good at making use of things rather than throwing them away. I can fix most things, or will give it a bloody good go and am fairly practical. I do not have white fur, but give it time, I’m not in my 40s yet.

Favourite work Tunes?

Very eclectic in my music taste. I don’t really listen to lyrics, but I like a good melody etc. Work tunes are very varied though…. Hayseed Dixie, Megadeath, Hall and Oats…. Disney…. Our music just tends to be consistently loud… too loud to hear the doorbell at times.

Favourite beer style?

I think probably super hoppy pales, IPAs and New England pales.
