Sales & Event Manager

We’re looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly person to join our small team. This is a varied customer facing role involving sales and lead generation, meeting targets as well as heading up events and networking. You’ll represent the brewery on a local and national level.

Role: Sales and Events Manager
Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: Dependant on Experience (target bonuses available)

Job Overview:

To be responsible for all sales of cask, keg and canned products. Proactive marketing via email and telephone to increase our sales reach and output in addition to answering and processing sales calls and emails which come in organically. Working to challenging but achievable targets.

Generate professional and engaging sales emails to update customers on latest stock.

To plan delivery routes and communicate with driver. Help with loading and unloading.
Organise pallets for delivery.

Keep track of available stock and ensure the stock room is organised and tidy, communicating any issues with brewers.

Keep all IT up to date including purchase database and any spreadsheets regarding stock/marketing activities etc

Package any direct sales orders ready for delivery.

Keep track of casks and ensure empties are collected on a regular basis to ensure the brewery runs smoothly at racking out.

Attend local and national events to represent the brewery – will involve evening and weekends working our mobile bar.

Attend events in a networking capacity on a regular basis to represent the brewery and build further working relationships with partners– will involve weekend and evening working.

Update social media apps on a regular basis with interesting and engaging content regarding the brewery and up and coming events we’re involved in.

This is a very autonomous role and you will be given free reign to develop your own style and systems. It’s a developing role so duties may vary.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Love of craft beer and the brewing industry
  • Excellent IT skills (Word/Excell/email packages etc knowledge)
  • Able to engage with customers in person, over the phone and via email
  • Working knowledge and enthusiasm for social media platforms
  • Excellent organisation and tracking skills
  • Able to work flexibly and work evenings and weekends
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Industry experience and a knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work alone and stay motivated
  • Able to work to and achieve targets
