We’ve been pretty busy recently with a load of exciting stuff all kicking off, but we’ll start with the important stuff first. The BEER!
This Story’s Not Ending Yet!
We had some awesome feedback about Luck Dragon 5.5% It was the first beer made in our shiny new tank and super hopped with Simcoe, Sabro, Mosaic and Amarillo. Loads of you were very sad to see it go, but as a one off brew, once it was gone, it was gone. However, we’ve had a change of heart and will be brewing another batch of this juice fest later this month!I Can See the Pub From Here!
With the hugely positive announcements of the last few weeks regarding the re-opening of pubs.We thought it may be an idea to start getting our casks and kegs in order! We’ve got our brew schedule together and will start brewing our cask ales from this week. We’re so happy at the prospect of getting back into the swing of things properly and really hope things stay on track. We’ll keep all our trade customers updated in the usual way via email. If you’re in the trade, please feelfree you get in touch on sales@totallybrewed.com if you’d like an update in the mean time. Our cans and minikegs will continue to be available direct on our website up until pub opening and beyond!
Feg's Back!
Some of you may have noticed that your delivery drivers have changed recently?! That’s because we lost Feg (Your usual delivery guy!) to his ‘other job’ for over a month. Basically he’s been hanging around with inflatable torsos... Hollywood A listers... Batman. Now all of our team are highly talented, multifaceted individuals… and Feg is no different. When not working with beer, he runs The Inflatable Crowd Company and creates crowd scenes for the film industry… His inflatable people are quite in demand recently as crowds are difficult to achieve! I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend a month with these guys!?
We’re super happy he’s back this week though. Think he may be too… Those torso guys are nowhere near as nice and chatty as you guys!
Tap House Renovation
We’ve been thinking about making a few changes to Tapped for a while now. Having spent around 2 years mulling it over, we’re going to just get on with it! Nothing too major, but we are talking a decent bar overhaul to create more space for preparing drinks. Also we’re moving the beer board… we love where it is, but again, we need more space.
Why the Hell do We Need More Space?
We’re extending the drinks offering we have at Tapped from when we open in May. We know we do beer really well, homebased misadventures over Christmas meant we discovered we also really love a cocktail! So we are going to offer a limited cocktail menu for a trial period and see how it goes. We’ll have beer cocktails as well as the more traditional variety!
So basically we have a shed load of stuff to be getting on with! It’s been utter chaos for the past year, but the future seems bright, and we’re more than up for the challenge! We really can’t wait to see all our lovely Tapped customers again, and we’re meeting new brewery customers all the time. We really can’t thank you enough for all your support. You guys rock!
